Md. Kawsar Ahmed Asif is a lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics at UCBD. He has extensive lecturing experience at BRAC University, Canadian University of Bangladesh, and World University of Bangladesh.
Asif completed his MSc and BSc in Mathematics at the University of Dhaka. He is proficient in the use of MATLAB, Python, C, FORTRAN, and Mathematica. He is a lifetime member of the Bangladesh Mathematical Society (BMS).
His areas of scholarly interest are operations research, data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and he has published articles in peer-reviewed international journals. His career objective is to conduct more research career in applied mathematics where he can utilize his capabilities to the fullest benefit of his country.
