Dr Abureza M Muzareba has been serving as a Professor in the Department of Marketing at the University of Dhaka for 15 years. Prof. Muzareba completed his PhD at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. He also holds an MBA (Summa Cum Laude) from United International University, where he was awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal, and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from BUET. In recognition of his academic excellence, Dr Muzareba was awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal for his MBA from United International University.
Besides his professorial role at the University of Dhaka, Dr Muzareba also served as a visiting lecturer and research mentor at the University of Sheffield, UK.
Alongside his extensive teaching career, Prof. Muzareba remains an active researcher with over 20 publications in areas such as digital media, sustainable tourism, and ICT for development. He has actively engaged in many international conferences, presenting papers on cutting-edge topics related to e-learning, ICT for development, and tourism. Notably, he presented his research on e-learning as a development toll at the prestigious BDI Yale Conference in 2019, held at Yale University, USA. During his career, Prof. Muzareba has been a featured speaker at various symposiums and workshops, including the Social Media Symposium at Sheffield Hallam University and the Digital Data Workshop at the University of York.
