Nawar Fairooz brings a rich background in both literature and language instruction to her teaching.

Nawar holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from Independent University, Bangladesh. Her approach to teaching is shaped by her diverse experience teaching in several universities including North South University and the Asian University for Women, where she taught courses in English as a Second Language, composition, and public speaking. She is committed to innovative, student-centered andragogy and has strengthened her skills through specialized training in trauma-informed teaching methods and interactive learning strategies.

Nawar’s research interests are in translation, literary analysis, and fundamentalism in literature. Her scholarly work has been featured in CHAOS: A Journal of the Department of English and Modern Languages, and her creative writing has been published in platforms like Hundred-Word Stories from Bangladesh and New Age, Youth. As a contributing writer for The Daily Star, she continues to contribute to the literary field, blending academic rigour with creative expression.
