Berger Paints Bangladesh offers career prospects for UCB students

MUFY orientation prog held at UCB
Universal College Bangladesh on Sunday successfully concluded the orientation programmememe for its Monash University Foundation Year January intake. Marking the commencement of the year’s first batch, the MUFY orientation programmememe was held on UCB campus at Gulshan in Dhaka, said a press release. The event began with introductory speeches by professor Muhammad Ismail Hossain, dean of academic affairs, and professor Hew Gill, president and provost at UCB. The event progressed with insightful speeches by Daniel Lum from international recruitment and development of Monash University Malaysia, and Azra Karim, in-country representative from Monash Australia. The speeches were followed by sessions targeted to familiarise students and guardians with UCB and the MUFY programmememe. Students and guardians are to note that though the orientation programmememe for MUFY January 2024 Intake is over, UCB will continue to keep the admission window open till February 2, 2024. Prof Hew Gill said that at UCB they looked forward to working together to take the students closer to their own unique goals. বাংলাদেশে মোনাশ কলেজ, অস্ট্রেলিয়ার একমাত্র অংশীদার ইউনিভার্সাল কলেজ বাংলাদেশের (ইউসিবি)। রোববার (২১ জানুয়ারি) মোনাশ ইউনিভার্সিটি ফাউন্ডেশন ইয়ারে (এমইউএফওয়াই) ভর্তি হওয়া শিক্ষার্থীদের ওরিয়েন্টেশন প্রোগ্রাম সফলভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। এমইউএফওয়াই’র এ বছরের প্রথম ব্যাচের জন্য রাজধানীর গুলশান ১ অ্যাভিনিউ এলাকার এসএ টাওয়ারে অবস্থিত ইউসিবি ক্যাম্পাসে এই অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। ইউসিবির ডিন অব অ্যাকাডেমিক অ্যাফেয়ার্স প্রফেসর মুহাম্মদ ইসমাইল হোসেন এবং প্রেসিডেন্ট ও প্রভোস্ট অধ্যাপক হিউ গিলের স্বাগত বক্তব্য দিয়ে এই আয়োজন শুরু হয়। এরপর অনুষ্ঠানে সমবেত শিক্ষার্থী ও অভিভাবকদের সামনে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বক্তব্য দেন মোনাশ ইউনিভার্সিটি মালয়েশিয়ার ইন্টারন্যাশনাল রিক্রুটমেন্ট অ্যান্ড ডেভেলপমেন্টের ড্যানিয়েল লাম এবং মোনাশ অস্ট্রেলিয়ার ইন-কান্ট্রি রিপ্রেজেন্টেটিভ আজরা করিম। পরে ইউসিবি ও এমইউএফওয়াই প্রোগ্রামের সাথে শিক্ষার্থী ও অভিভাবকদের পরিচিত করিয়ে দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে সেশনের আয়োজন করা হয়। সেশনে মোনাশ প্রোগ্রামের পড়াশোনা, গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নীতিমালা, প্রয়োজনীয় অ্যাকাডেমিক টুল, মোনাশ ও ইউসিবি’র অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি ও ব্যবহার এবং এমওওডিএলই -এ (মডিউলার অবজেক্ট-অরিয়েন্টেড ডায়নামিক লার্নিং এনভায়রনমেন্ট) কোর্স পরিচালনা সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত তথ্য উপস্থাপন করা হয়। শিক্ষাগত দক্ষতা, ভাষা দক্ষতা ও সংখ্যাগত (গাণিতিক) দক্ষতার ওপরও সেশন আয়োজিত হয়। উল্লেখ্য, এমইউএফওয়াই জানুয়ারি ২০২৪ -এ ভর্তি হওয়া শিক্ষার্থীদের ওরিয়েন্টেশন প্রোগ্রাম আয়োজিত হলেও, ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসের ২ তারিখ পর্যন্ত এমইউএফওয়াই -তে ভর্তির সুযোগ থাকছে। এ বিষয়ে ইউসিবির প্রেসিডেন্ট ও প্রভোস্ট অধ্যাপক হিউ গিল বলেন, “আমাদের নতুন শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের চমৎকার এ শিক্ষা যাত্রা শুরু করতে প্রস্তুত; আমি এখানে উপস্থিত আমাদের নতুন শিক্ষার্থীদের অভিনন্দন জানাচ্ছি। প্রত্যেকের আলাদা লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছানোর ক্ষেত্রে আমরা একযোগে কাজ করে যেতে চাই। এখানে আপনাদের সবাইকে স্বাগত জানাতে পেরে আমরা অত্যন্ত উচ্ছ্বসিত, একটি সমৃদ্ধ আগামীর জন্য আশাবাদী আমরা।” ইউনিভার্সাল কলেজ বাংলাদেশ (ইউসিবি) মোনাশ কলেজ, অস্ট্রেলিয়ার একমাত্র অংশীদার এবং দেশের প্রথম শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয় অনুমোদিত আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষাপ্রদানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান। শিক্ষার্থীরা তাদের ও/এএস/এ/এইচএসসি পাশ করার পরপরই আন্তর্জাতিক প্রোগ্রামে ভর্তির মাধ্যমে মোনাশ ইউনিভার্সিটি বা ইউনিভার্সিটি অব লন্ডন – এলএসইতে ডিগ্রি অর্জনে যাত্রা শুরু করতে পারবেন। এখানে শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য একইরকম গ্লোবাল অ্যাকাডেমিক কারিকুলাম ও সাশ্রয়ী টিউশন ফি গ্রহণের সুযোগ রয়েছে। এ প্রোগ্রাম ও কর্মশালা সম্পর্কে আরও বিস্তারিত জানতে ভিজিট করুন- http://UCBD.org/ Published in: Bangladeshmail24

Through a stunning programmeme held earlier today (January 21, 2024), Universal College Bangladesh (UCB), the exclusive partner of Monash College, Australia in Bangladesh, successfully concluded the orientation programmeme for its Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) January intake. Marking the commencement of the year’s first batch, the MUFY Orientation programmeme was held at the UCB Campus, located in the capital’s SA Tower, 1 Gulshan Avenue area. The “Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) Orientation” programmeme began with introductory speeches by Prof. Muhammad Ismail Hossain, Dean of Academic Affairs, and Prof. Hew Gill, President and Provost, at UCB. The event progressed with insightful speeches by Daniel Lum from International Recruitment and Development of Monash University Malaysia; and Azra Karim, In-country representative from Monash Australia addressing the august gathering of both students and parents. The speeches were followed by sessions targeted to familiarize students and guardians with UCB and the MUFY programmeme. Important details regarding studying Monash programmemes, important policies, etc. were shared including information about essential academic tools, creation and use of Monash and UCB accounts, and navigation of courses on Moodle. Sessions on Study Skills, Language Skills, and Numeracy Skills also took place. Students and guardians are to note that although the orientation programmeme for MUFY January 2024 Intake is over, Universal College Bangladesh will continue to keep the admission window open for MUFY January Intake till 2nd February 2024.
