Mr Kazi Golam Rabbani Mowla completed his Master’s degree in Finance at the University of Edinburgh under the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from the University of Dhaka, where he secured first position in both programmes. Besides this scholarship, Mr Kazi’s academic achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including the UGC-Prime Minister’s Gold Medal Award, Dean’s Honour award, and Dean’s Merit Award from the University of Dhaka.
Mr Kazi joined the Department of Finance at the University of Dhaka as a Lecturer in 2018 and has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the same department since 2022. In addition to his role at the University of Dhaka, he has also served as an adjunct faculty member at institutions such as Bangladesh University of Professionals, and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.
Mr Kazi’s research interests focus on sustainability and corporate financial performance, corporate finance, financial technology, and digital banking. He has several peer-reviewed publications to his name, covering topics such as customer adaptation of alternative banking channels in Bangladesh and Mobile Financial Services in Bangladesh.
