Rahnuma-E Jannat completed her BSc in Psychology, and MSc in Counselling Psychology at the University of Dhaka.
She has extensive clinical experience, and has practiced in educational institutions across the public and private sectors. She has also provided training and support to paraprofessionals and clients from various NGOs and government organisations.
Her research interests include mental health literacy, adolescent mental health, and the impacts of climate vulnerability. She also led the Mental Health stream of the Health Promotion Project undertaken by the World Health Organization to investigate the impact and effectiveness of current health promotion campaigns and strategies in higher education.
Rahnuma is currently on study leave as a Presidential Graduate Fellow and doctoral student at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
