Universal College Bangladesh, the exclusive partner of Monash College, Australia in Bangladesh, concluded the orientation for the Monash University Foundation Year programme recently.
The event has been the second batch of 2025, following the successful orientation of the first intake held in January 2025, said a press release on Tuesday.
The orientation session kicked off with opening remarks from Professor Muhammad Ismail Hossain, dean of academic affairs at UCBD, who is himself a Monash alumnus. Following this, Professor Hew Gill, president and provost at UCBD, addressed the incoming cohort and their parents.
Azra Karim, country representative in Bangladesh, International Student Recruitment, admission and communication, Monash University, Ambreen Zaman, senior lecturer and MUFY programme coordinator and Samia Salam, parent engagement executive, also spoke.
